Bilingual Project Manager of System Development

As a Project Manager of system development, you will be responsible for management of development and support of our WMS and logistics applications for customers throughout North America, as well as affiliate group companies. The ideal candidate understands the technical requirements related to the business and our WMS application. This role requires the ability to effectively collaborate with an energetic, and customer solutions driven team.

Bilingual Language Skills:

Position Summary:
This position is responsible for coordinating, planning, and directing the organization's technology and information systems for the general customers and Group subsidiaries. He/she will lead staff, determine necessary technology advancements, train employees and subordinates in the use of software and hardware used in the daily operations of the organization, and oversee technical maintenance and security, including support.

Essential Job Functions:  
·        Coordinating IT projects and handling lifecycle of project from start to end
·        Provide support and training of subordinate and management staff
·        Managing achievement against customers
·        Oversees an Application support team
·        Develop and maintain short and long-term goals, objectives, policies and operating procedures
·        Provide strategic advice and recommendations to IT in the development, implementation, and evaluation of new or modified policies, practices, and procedure
·        Participate and support the activities in order to ensure applications are effectively deployed and utilized
·        Ensure advanced support and quality of service for end user applications
·        Support management and sales for application demonstration and presentation to external customers
·        Assist in requirement gathering and spec preparation for system development for of customer solutions
·        Assist and direct the implementation of new technologies, such as WMS/ERP
·        Complete understanding of the company's Business software products (ONEsLOGI) Experience or understanding of software design and development tools and technology
·        Exceptional leadership and problem-solving skills
·        Self-starters who are flexible and work well with everyone from entry-level employees to upper management
·        Take initiative to find solutions for business requirements.
·        Deep understanding of how to set up service agreements, analyze service performance and make recommendations based on identifying improvement opportunities.
·        Have prior experience managing an IT development.
·        Advanced technical knowledge of infrastructure, network and desktop environments is preferred.
·        Must have experience developing and working with IT service processes, incident, problem, change and SLA management.
·        Experience using service desk software and related products. Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
·        Ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities.

Required Technical Skills:  
•        Database experience: MySQL, MS-SQL Server, Oracle and DBFlute a plus
•        Software: Eclipse, Git, Visual Studio, SVN
•        Programming Language: Java, VB.NET/C#  
o        Experience with Angular JS framework and/or Bootstrap library a plus
o        Experience with data transformation of flat files, CSV, Excel, XML, JSON, ODBC and workflow automation a plus
o        Be accurate and careful to avoid human error during critical system operation.

Education and / or Experience  
·        Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent
·        More than 5 years of experience in application design and development
·        Development experience with Git
·        Experience in leadership roles in directing and mentoring team members with minimal oversight.
·        Understanding of software development lifecycle
·        Experience with WMS/SCM/YMS/OMS and/or freight forwarding systems a plus but not required.
·        More than 2 years of project manager experience
